An anorexic who weighed just 5 stone 12lbs has cheated death to become a bikini contest star.
Kaitlyn Davidson fought a two-year battle with the eating disorder as her weight plummeted to dangerous levels.
Her hair began to fall out, her period stopped and doctors warned her heart could stop at any moment.
But in 2013 Kaitlyn, now 23, came back from the brink and began her mental and physical recovery.
After gaining three stone and building muscle to become a healthy weight, Kaitlyn is now competing in bikini fitness pageants.
In October 2015, she bagged sixth place in her first World Beauty Fitness & Fashion (WBFF) bikini contest and is now towards winning a pro card.

Kaitlyn, from Sydney, Australia, said: "I was addicted to pushing myself beyond my expectation, of completely exhausting myself and viewing food as the enemy.
"My love and passion for the gym and health turned to a deadly obsession.
"Some days I would even exercise three times a day, I would have spent up to five or so hours in the gym overall in one day at times.
"The eating disorder became so out of control that my heart could have stopped at any moment."
A Christmas holiday to Hawaii in 2012 finally made Kaitlyn admit she was ill.
She spent hours in the hotel gym, had to control every meal, including Christmas Day and found that only kid's clothes would fit her.
She added: "I couldn't even enjoy going for a swim because I was constantly freezing let alone be without a jacket.
"I wasn't able to relax and enjoy time with my family because I needed to be in an environment where I could control my food and exercise as these where my priorities.

"This lead to constant extreme anxiety where I had to control everything in my environment including convincing my family to stay in the hotel that had a gym or only go to places where I knew I could easily get back to the hotel if I wanted food or to exercise.
"My mum gave me Portia De Rossi's autobiography and her story was just too similar to mine to ignore.
"I began identifying my habits with hers and the further I got into the book the more boxes I was ticking off in my head.
"This was when it became real to me that there was a problem."
After the break Kaitlyn agreed to see a doctor and a year later she was chasing her dream of becoming a bikini competitor with the help of her sister, Ashleigh, who also competes.

She said: "My sister was a huge inspiration to me and as a bikini competitor herself, we promised each other that one day we would stand on stage together.
"The day we did this I had all of my closest friends and family watching and was a bundle of emotions, mostly though I felt proud.
"This was a moment I had visualised for years and all through recovery.
"I knew I would achieve this goal and it was what motivated me to push through some of the toughest days of my life.

"I knew I would get myself here one day and that day was one I will never forget.
"In a way it was an end and a beginning for me, I had faced my demons again and proved that I had once and for all overcome the horrible disease."
Kaitlyn also praises her coach Melissa Zimmerman for making her mental health a top priority.
She added: "I needed to find a coach that would have my mentality as a priority, not just how I look on stage but would encourage a healthy lifestyle.
"I have learned to accept myself and for that I love myself, I love the way my body feels and what it is capable of doing.
"I am now very balanced in my life and am working with my coach towards my next bikini competition."
