KATY Perry has been named as music’s biggest earner in 2015, thanks to her sold-out Prismatic world tour and a series of lucrative endorsements.
The I Kissed a Girl singer earned $US135 million ($A187.32 million) in 2015, according to Forbes magazine.
This places Perry at number one on the mag’s annual rich list — up 22 places from last year.
British boy band One Direction came in second on the new Forbes list with earnings of $US130 million, while Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift and The Eagles rounding out the top five.
Last year’s richest musician, Dr Dre, fell to number 28 on the 2015 list.
Rounding out the top 10 are Swift’s DJ boyfriend Calvin Harris, Justin Timberlake, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Fleetwood Mac and Lady Gaga.
