Men take to Reddit to reveal what it’s really like to have a relationship with a sex worker

IF you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to date a sex worker, then a group of men who do just that have answered all your questions for you.
Men took to Reddit to discuss what it’s like to have a partner who sells her body, with some commenters put off by the idea — and others claiming that sex workers make the best girlfriends.
Being in a relationship with a sex worker can create jealousy issues for some fellas, but other men claim that there’s no reason why women working in the world’s oldest profession are any different to be with.

It all started when an insecure bloke revealed that he is uncomfortable with his girlfriend’s job because he thought it would make her more likely to cheat on him.
However, he did add that “the sex is great,” before asking if anyone could offer some advice on the topic.

One man was well placed to offer some words of wisdom, having dated an escort in the past.
He said: “I dated a sex worker. I used to pick her up from work etc. We had a great and fun relationship with zero negative work-related issues.
“It depends totally on you and your views on sex and intimacy. Intimacy for us was chilling together, affection and talking.
“Our sex life was fun and enjoyable for both of us.
She asked me once: ‘Does it bother you that I’ve had sex with over 2000 men?’
“The answer was no, it actually was rather liberating. I knew she’d seen it all and that I was fairly in the middle of the bell curve.”

He did add that men dating sex workers should make sure that their partners are safe, and doing it for the right reasons, although he added that “cheating has absolutely nothing to do with her profession. ”
He continued: “You may actually find she’s far more loyal and trustworthy as she completely understands her sexual needs and is comfortable talking about them.
“She may also appreciate your intimacy far more than she would a random sexual encounter.”
And as far as questions about sexual health are concerned, one user claimed that sex workers have better hygiene that the average person.
And a further commenter said: “You need to view sex as an activity like cooking or going for a run. She applies zero importance on the act and you’ll need to be able to do the same.”

Another Reddit user with a friend working in the sex industry also chipped in with some advice, saying: “Her being a sex worker doesn’t make her more likely to cheat. It’s a job.
“If you’ve ever worked customer service, you know that smiling isn’t a genuine thing and that you have to do it to make the customer happy because it’s your job.
“This is her job, it’s what she has to do. I know I never had the urge to go to stores and help people when I was off the clock at my retail jobs.”
They added that jealous or insecure people aren’t suited to dating sex workers, saying: “Those are entirely your issues and if you want this to work, you need to get over them.”
