RUSSIAN jets destroyed a hospital, clinic and school in Syria yesterday — two days after Barack Obama begged Vladimir Putin to rein back his bomb blitz.
The US president phoned his Russian counterpart on Saturday with a plea to stop bombing moderate Syrian rebels and allow aid convoys to reach trapped civilians.
Kids, patients and medics died in yesterday’s strikes.
Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad said a ceasefire did not mean each side “will stop using weapons”.
