A WESTLIFE-obsessed wife who told TV presenter Jeremy Kyle a rumble between the sheets with singer Shane Filan would beat bedtime with her husband is fighting to save her marriage.
Heavily-pierced Kirsty Bryan has bene subjected to vicious comments calling for her other half, Adam Peers, to leave her after she revealed her extreme passion for the Irish popstars on ITV1's The Jeremy Kyle Show last month.
The mum-of-two said both online trolls and passers-by had also branded her 'scum' and 'vile'.
The bullies have even threatened to rip out numerous facial studs around her mouth, on her eyebrow and through her ears after she told audience members she'd named her sons after the group frontman and singer Kian Egan.
Kirsty, who has 32 Westlife CDs and 19 DVDs, said it was a 'natural' decision to call her brood after her celebrity crushes.
She said she had been bombarded with negativity and 'abuse' since the show aired which including comments made while she was shopping in her local Asda.
She said: "I regret some of the things I said, like I'd rather sleep with Shane Filan than my husband but anybody would say things under pressure.
"It's not nice for people to say they want to rip my piercings out while my children are with me or tell my partner to leave me. I've even been called scum. It's vile. But we have stayed strong against the odds and I'll prove people wrong."
She added: "I went on The Jeremy Kyle Show a last resort to get help with my relationship.
"But all I've had since is abuse.
"The producers literally told us just before we got on stage what the headline for our episode would be and I was surprised."
Those with Twitter accounts were also quick to respond to Kirsty's revelations.
User Lauren Burns wrote: 'All my girlfriend wants for Christmas is Westlife' is probably the most hilarious Jeremy Kyle episode ever' while Stephen Keig said: On today's Jeremy Kyle show : A grown woman obsessed with Westlife. What is wrong with people?.
Kirsty and hubby Adam Peers have been together for 18 months but are currently battling through a rough spot in their romance.
"We knew what we were getting ourselves into but we were hurt by the way the producers spun the headline," said Adam.
"It was all blown out of proportion. It's horrible the abuse Kirsty's got.
"We can't blame the show, because it has helped us get counselling."
Viewers of the mid-morning programme also learned one of the Staffordshire residents' numerous tattoos was an inking of the band.
She is now busy hoarding cash so she can have separate inkings of Shane and Kian, and their fellow singers Mark Feehily and Nicky Byrne as permanent portraits of affection on her back.
Kirsty revealed the true extent of her Westlife craze when she burst into tears after host Jezza played a video from Shane inviting her to his solo show.
Talking of the 36-year-old singer, who is set to tour the UK in March, Kirsty said: "When I first saw Shane backstage I fainted. When I woke up, he was there holding a glass of water for me.
"Their farewell tour was heartbreaking. I was four rows from the front and Shane came right into the audience. He is drop dead gorgeous."
