A 'BANK robber' nabbed in a police sting turned out to be a rapper withdrawing money to buy a new car.
Officers swooped on Blac Youngsta, pinning him to the ground outside the Georgia Wells Fargo bank in Atlanta after he had visisted the branch to draw out £140,000 for a new set of wheels.
Worried staff raised the alarm after mistaking the 25-year-old - real name Sam Benson - for a wanted conman who had been cashing fraudulent checks in the area.

Benson was handcuffed, before police discovered the error and let him go.
The star is now furious with bank staff, claiming he was racially profiled.
He said: "Wells Fargo came out like everything was cool but (the employee) called the police on me.
“They targeted me just because I was young and black ... I had too much money."

The real fraudster, a man named Charles D. Edward, was caught at the same bank just a short time later.
