AN EGGS-TRAORDINARY new cooking hack shows the simplest way to peel a hard-boiled egg is to swirl it around in a cup.

Instagram user Ryan Fortin has taken to social media to reveal the speediest way to prepare his favourite breakfast treat.
The quick hack has removed all the hassle out of preparing a hard-boiled egg and can be carried out with these three easy moves.
Step one: Prepare the egg by boiling it in water for approximately four minutes.

Boil your egg and grab a cup to place it in

Step two: Place the egg into a mug or cup and swirl around for five seconds.

The motion created by twirling the egg in a cup will loosen the peel
Step three: Take egg out and gently push skin to one side.

The peel will then be loose enough to push to one side

After pulling back the layer, your egg will be ready to eat.
