A MIDDLE-AGED dad brought ‘shame on the family’ with a tattoo of a lizard performing a sex act on a naked woman.
Dave, from Basildon, had the obscene inking just two years ago and even admitted to thinking about it for a week before going ahead.
But he told E4’s Tattoo Fixers the outrageous artwork led to a tongue-lashing from his wife and kids.
He said: “My family absolutely hate it when I take my top off.
“Even in the garden doing a bit of DIY my wife will open the window and throw a T-shirt at me.
“She doesn’t even want the neighbours to see my back.”
Dave’s two children have dragged him to the tattoo parlour to cover the picture in tonight’s episode of the show.
Daughter Emma reveals: “Our dad has the most horrendous tattoo. I would go out on a limb and say it’s probably the worst one I’ve ever seen.”
“I couldn’t speak to start with. Obscene is probably the right way to describe it. I live in constant fear that people are going to see it.”
She added: ‘My dad’s tattoo is unexplainable. It’s a shame on the family.”
Dave’s son adds: “I don’t know what was going through his mind but it wasn’t sense.”
Even the Tattoo Fixers are shocked, with Sketch calling it ‘one of the most graphic’ he’d seen.
He made Dave feel even better about himself by telling him: “I don’t get that why you would do that when you’re old.”
But the Fixers soon had the problem licked – with a colourful safari scene featuring a tiger to mask the naked figure.
So the family left happy, and Dave is finally allowed to take his top off in public.
Safari, so good for the lizard lover.
