I give Buhari 100% support on action against judiciary – Actor John Okafor

Nollywood actor, John Okafor has said that he gives President Muhammadu Buhari 100 per cent of his support on his actions against the Nigerian judiciary in respect to the allegations of judicial misconduct and corruption leveled against some judges.

Recall that the Department of State Services, DSS, has in the past weeks conducted a ‘sting operation’ on Nigerian top judges whom they arrested, alleging judicial

misconduct and corruption. The judges, whose homes were raided and arrested by operatives of the DSS during separate operations carried out on October 7 and 8, include two Justices of the Supreme Court, Sylvester Ngwuta and Iyang Okoro. Other judges are Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court Abuja, Kabir Auta of the Kano High Court, Muazu Pindiga of Gombe High Court, Mohammed Tsamiya of the Court of Appeal, Ilorin, and the Chief Judge of Enugu State, I. A. Umezulike. Mr. Okafor who took to the social media to state his opinion rather based his support on the point that the indicted judges and the judiciary decided to keep mum instead of acting as the last hope of the common man when some Nigerians were allegedly wrongly accused, detained unlawfully and or refused bail even when they were either not found guilty or not being tried at all.
